Silvia Leahu-Aluas is the founder and owner of Sustainable Manufacturing Consulting. She has 25 years of technical and managerial experience, primarily in the capital goods industry, and multi-functional competence in process engineering, sales and operations planning, strategic planning, marketing, market intelligence, business development, change and risk management.
 
She holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj, Romania and an M.B.A. from the Indiana University – Bloomington. She is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

She is dedicated to the adoption of sustainability principles in business and to the renewed success of manufacturing in a carbon-constrained world.
